\n pretty self explanatory; when you look at the material you can see
\n what he’s intending.<\/p>\n

The film always ends up much tighter in the first
\n cut; a lot of things end up being not necessary anyway, just to
\n tell the story.<\/p>\n

I’m
\n always looking to delete dialogue.<\/b><\/p>\n

On Relying Too Much on the Screenplay<\/b> <\/span><\/p>\n

It’s often hard before you shoot a film to say which
\n bits are going to be superfluous; you have to shoot them but you’ve
